Promising New MS Study

recently published study in JAMA Neurology has shown great preliminary results and promise for the treatment of MS using stem cells.  The progression of MS was arrested in 91% of the patients.

Immunosuppressive therapy along with chemotherapy in some the patients was used with predictably harsh side effects.  But for a first attempt the results are incredible.

The holistic approach to treating MS has involved a paleolithic like-diet with modifications made for the types of fats that can be consumed.  This diet is used in conjunction with herbs and therapies to strengthen digestion and eliminate toxins.  We have a forum thread about multiple sclerosis.
